Sneak Peek - Bachelor #3 Chance, a former baseball player, has a new motto:

Chance, a former baseball player, has a new motto: Never dance while going commando.

If only he'd come up with it before splitting his pants in a charity dance competition. Now he's internet famous.

Well, his butt is.

He's trying to stay incognito while helping his uncle's limo business but somehow bachelorette parties always recognize their chauffeur—and then things get crazy again.

Party planner Hayley offers to be his fake girlfriend to help keep the eager women away. He'll be Hayley's fake...

Some Fave Reads of 2025 I've never done one of these end-of-year things

I've never done one of these end-of-year things before so I'm a little nervous. Writing reviews isn't easy! I'm in awe of everyone who does write them. I salute your talent at describing why you loved a book and generating enthusiasm for other readers.

So even though my natural habitat--where I'm most comfortable--is writing my own books, I really wanted to talk about these stories, so I'm going to give this a try.

Two of these stories reflect my current trope binge: wrong texts/phone numbers....

Rudolph IS a Christmas Romance There's often a debate this time of year

There's often a debate this time of year about whether Die Hard is a Christmas movie (it unquestionably is). But I want to throw out another topic for discussion, one you might not have thought about before now.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is a Christmas romance.

Let me explain why.

At first glance, it's a story about a lovable reindeer with an odd quirk—that bright red nose of his that makes everyone need protective eye wear whenever he's looking their way. There's also his friend, an elf...

I love this new cover. Carrie Peters from Cheeky Covers does such amazing things for me.

This has always been a rom-com but now it has a cover that LOOKS like it is. It also shows the heroine, Delia, who is a winery tasting room manager, and Jonathan, a chef.

I've also changed the cover copy to give a better sense of the rom-com story.

Here it is:

Why do the dating gods hate me?

My five-year anniversary was supposed to include a fancy dinner, incredible sex, and a proposal I wasn't quite ready...

Oh Nights Divine - a sexy holiday treat! I'm newly retired, but at my

I'm newly retired, but at my previous day job I spent a lot of time on the phone, calling various companies to get information. Sometimes I was on hold for really long spells—once it was two hours! And I still didn't get to talk to anyone that day.

After holding for a while, hearing the robot lady repeat how my call is very important to them (hah!), it can be a shock to actually hear a human voice. This particular day the perma-hold gods were smiling on me: the customer service rep who...

My New Website! I've just moved in here and still figuring out where I'm

I've just moved in here and still figuring out where I'm going to put everything. It'll probably take a while before i quit bumping into boxes -- oops! And figuring out where I put old blog posts and website stuff will be an adventure. My old site was the one you can see at the bottom of the graphic there. I had it for 16 years and then at the end of September, the company (Typepad) decided to close its doors.

It feels a little strange not to have my old site, but I'd been wanting to change...
